Tree of Life VI
Tree of Life VI is an acrylic painting on panel of a Palm Tree. A Palm Tree symbolizes victory, triumph, and peace due to is resilience in the face of adversity.
This painting is the last in a series of six symbolic ‘Tree of Life’ tree paintings. Created using acrylics and framed in reclaimed wood from a very old porch from the Church Hill neighborhood in Richmond, VA. The neighborhood is the oldest in the city with houses dating back to the 1700’s.
The framing was done by noted musician Greta Brinkman whose history includes stints with Moby, Blondie, and L7. She uses reclaimed wood from many of the historic homes in Richmond.
